We love supporting local businesses – especially those that promote health and wellbeing and support the practise of yoga, meditation and achieving balance in every part of your life. CoalitionSkin is one of those businesses; read all about its founder, Annik Landry, and find out how she can help fix your skin (plus, check out her special offer for Bikram Yoga Vancouver students)!

After spending five years travelling, perfecting the beauty techniques that she picked up from different cultures around the world, certified skin therapist and makeup artist Annik Landry decided to open her own esthetics shop in downtown Vancouver. CoalitionSkin offers a unique combination of skin-therapy services, body piercing, makeup artistry and Pilates classes from its space at 424 Homer Street.

“Our specialties are Brazilian waxing, eyebrow-shape correction and skin therapies like microdermabrasion,” she says. “In addition to Brazilian wax for women, we offer the ‘Brazil Nut’ for guys who want to keep it kept down there!”
Landry also leads two weekly Pilates classes at her store – each with a twist. Hip Hop Pilates lets you sweat it out to some good beats while Hangover Pilates (with a complimentary Caesar cocktail) can help cure the effects of Friday night. The space is also a gallery of sorts, featuring work by local artists.
“CoalitionSkin offers a little bit of everything that enhances your natural beauty and creativity,” she explains. “We’re dedicated to serving our clients who, like us, are interested in leading a fun and healthy lifestyle.”
That said, CoalitionSkin will give a 20% discount off any of its services to Bikram Yoga Vancouver students who are first-time clients; just show your BYV key tag when you visit the store.
